Red Deer’s Vital Signs
Brand and Web Campaign
From Red Deer’s first incarnation of Vital Signs in 2007 through til this year, Idea Market’s been working with the RDDCF to create a stunning booklet to showcase the feedback (qualitative and quantitative) Red Deer gives us on how they feel their community is measuring up. It highlights issues that the City needs to work on, as well as Red Deer’s strengths and things we can be proud of.
- 2010 marked the first year the Foundation made the decision to go print-less, and instead produced a digital booklet. This has positive implications for both the environment and their budget.
- In 2009 we produced a calendar instead of a typical book format. Instead of reading (or merely leafing through) the report and filing it away, the information and issues were on display all year round as a constant reminder of how far we’ve come and things that could be worked on.
- We’ve always used local, custom photography (no stock!) to highlight the City.
The Vital Signs report continues to be important to decision and policy-makers in Red Deer and we hope to be a part of the project for years to come!
