Town of Lacombe
The Town of Lacombe needed a new website that would give their entire staff the ability to update the content while maintaining the overall look along the way. Our solution a complete e-commerce content management system with user access levels to match their municipal structure. Once the online services section is launch town residents will be able to pay their taxes and more right from the website.
The goal of the design was to create a clean, professional image that represented both the current culture of the town and where the town is headed. The website shape reflects progression as well as the towns most recognizable historic building, the flat iron. Having a new modern look for the site allows Lacombe to be recognized as a fast growing town with many new ideas.
Keeping it simple and easily accessible, we wanted the people of Lacombe to be able to find their way around the site with ease so we eliminated the 20 plus main menu items and replaced them with four. We then made it fun by color coordinating the menus and the site sections with bright uplifting colors.
Along with their website we helped the Town of Lacombe develop their loyalty shopping program, custom trail maps, a successful capital campaign, economic development branding and many ongoing projects.
