We value: integrity, creativity, growth and quality and believe that our values show through in our work which is why we want to share some of our projects with you.
We decided we could do better and came up with the concept of showing a family enjoying the air show (and creating their own airplane!), instead of focusing on the performers in the sky. We had our own photoshoot for the occasion, featuring props from the Reynolds-Alberta Museum and local models. Combining this with bright colours, a modern look (inside and out) with slick typography and a special corner flip-book feature, the book came together and felt truly unique. We thought this approach would appeal to families and really stand out over other air show souvenir books.
The result? The Wetaskiwin Air Show partners were impressed and very excited to promote the book. Taking in the Air Show, Idea Market received all kinds of compliments (from pilots, members of the community and even the announcer himself!)... and found out that the Air Show is so proud of the book that they entered in a marketing competition specifically for air shows and placed second globally!
