Think Google is just a great search engine? Think again. Here are a few of my favorite Google tools beyond the standard search:
Google Maps has been a favorite time-waster of mine for a while now. Check it out if you need road maps of pretty much anywhere, including driving directions to your next destination. The real fun, though, is doing some virtual sightseeing via their satellite imagery. Red Deer and Lacombe aren't great, but you can clearly count cars in Edmonton or Calgary.

We've had a few people ask us if we can really create a website that will do what they need it to within their budget. Unless their "budget" was "paying us with live chickens" we can usually make it work.

Sunny 94 Website

This past week we launched sunny94.com. Not only is it fantastic to have a great radio station in our home town, but it was fun to develop their website. However, I think we may have affected the productivity in all the offices in Lacombe with this website launch. The retro arcade has proved to be fairly popular … well at least in the Idea Market office.
Idea Market Golf

As of this weekend the Idea Market staff is officially a golf foursome in the YFC tournament. Steve was quoted saying, “We know there will be some good teams on the course, but we’re bringing our ‘A’ game this July.” The Idea Market team is throwing out the challenge to other businesses to “just try and out golf us” at the YFC tournament.
