New Project: Red Deer County

Idea Market is proud and excited to announce our newest project: a website and intranet update for Red Deer County.

About the Project

Red Deer County requires major updates to their existing external website and staff intranet, including an updated content management system that spans both. Particularly interesting is the intranet side, as it will be such a vital part of the County's day-to-day operations. As a hub for all work information and communication, it will be the kind of tool that County employees log into when they first arrive at work and use extensively all day. We have some neat things planned...

About Red Deer County
Centrally located between Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, Red Deer County is one of Canada's fastest growing and most prosperous regions. Included in its boundaries are one city (Red Deer), four towns (Bowden, Innisfail, Penhold, Sylvan Lake), two villages (Elnora and Delburne), two summer villages (Norglenwold and Jarvis Bay) and eight hamlets (Ardley, Evarts, Lousana, Markerville, Dickson, Spruce View, Benalto and Springbrook). Total population including these municipalities is over 116,000.

Red Deer County Comments
"We are very excited about this project as it will update Red Deer County's look but more importantly give our residents and clients an improved and updated external website. In addition we will update the Intranet to make it a strategic and efficient tool for daily work. And the new content management system proposed by Idea Market is very user-friendly, which will be a big bonus once we make the switch. Our goal is for Red Deer County's website to be one of the best in Alberta and something that will make us proud!"
